Emergency Types Covered
Emergency Response Plan
A complete Emergency Response Plan is maintained and available in Section 8 of this portal. All workers must be familiar with its contents.
Key Requirements
- Emergency contacts are posted at all workstations and on the portal homepage.
- Emergency wardens are appointed and trained. Warden list is posted at the emergency assembly point.
- Evacuation drills are conducted at least annually.
- Assembly point is clearly marked and known to all workers.
- First aid facilities are maintained and accessible.
- Fire equipment is inspected and maintained in accordance with AS 1851.
Notifiable Incidents
Any emergency that results in a death, serious injury, or dangerous incident must be reported to WorkSafe Queensland immediately: 1300 362 128.
