EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT

Emergency procedures, warden structure, and response plans. All workers must know the evacuation procedure and assembly point before commencing work.

EVACUATION PROCEDURE

STOP work immediately

Put down tools, close containers, secure any immediate hazards

ALERT others

Activate the nearest manual call point or shout 'EVACUATE'

CALL 000

If safe to do so — report the emergency type and location

EVACUATE

Use the nearest safe exit. Do not use lifts. Do not collect personal items.

PROCEED to assembly point

REPORT to warden

Report to the Area Warden for roll call. Do not re-enter the building.

WAIT for all clear

Only re-enter when the Chief Warden or emergency services give the all clear
